HTX Sewn Goods

Sewn Goods was started as a collective of small batch manufacturers, non-profits, educational institutions and local sewists coming together in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic to address a public health crisis. Sewn Goods members pivoted from their traditional product Iines, and with the help of local talent, produced over 75,000 high quality reusable cloth face masks to keep neighbors and frontline healthcare workers safe.

As the need for locally made soft goods has grown due to irregular supply chains, Sewn Goods continues

to invest in the up-skilling and training of local talent.

Recently, with the help of a board member, local sewists were inspired to design a

more comfortable and stylish athletic skort with exterior pockets. After many hours of training and prototyping, we are very excited to debut our skort line through the launch of HTX Sewn Goods, a brand focusing on innovative, Houston-made products that supports the skills training and economic empowerment of residents by providing fair wages, upward mobility and a pathway to owning their own small businesses.
